Doesnt register all notes i play
In a song, and mostly within the arcade, it just ignores the note i play. I tried different approaches and from a musical backgound in drums i know it needs to play at that timing. This made it really hard to level up the difficulty of the song because it says i miss notes or i cant practise within the arcade.

This comes all negative because these flaws are hard to make someone improve quicker. Besides that its still a great tool, but please if possible fix this.

Well, a few questions on this...

1. Do you notice it happen on certain strings, and mainly higher frets?

2. If in a song, have you gone into riff repeater to slow it down and see what you are missing?

3. Just to make sure, you are using the Real Tone cable, correct?

Note detection is a combination of Correct timing and Correct pitch. The software listens to the sound you are making. Here are some issues to look out for:

1. Pressing too hard... When pressing the string down, it should be close to the fret with just enough pressure to make a clean sound... pressing too hard and in between frets will bend the note out of tune a little bit.

2. Pressing or pulling at an angle. If you press or pull the string at an angle, it will bend the note out of tune a little bit. This is most common on the Red string (Low E) since it is the hardest to reach.

3. Intonation. If you are seeing the issue on higher frets, like 7 or above... You might have an intonation issue on your guitar. The easiest way to see if this is the issue. is if you tune the Low E string (Red) to exactly E... the same string on the 12th fret should be exactly E. If it is sharp or flat, then the length of the string needs to be adjusted to correct it.

4. Shadow notes. Sometimes on fast songs with repeating chords, you may see shadow boxes... Those are your strumming pattern. You just play the same chord that it just told you to play before that.

When i try the Scale Warriors it happens on the Low E string on the 5'th and 7th fred. This sometimes tend to happen on the A string. However, the other strings dont lack this problem. In addition some songs seem to suffer from this too.

Yeah, I try to look which notes I actually need to play, try it myself slowely without the game, then go back to it and see if it works.

Correct, i have the Real Tone Cable.

Im aware of the other things you mentioned. However, it does not seem to be the problem.

5th and 7th fret... Intonation is most likely your problem. When is the last time you have had a shop do a Full Setup on your guitar?

You can google how to do a setup and do it yourself. But I would suggest that any new player has a shop set their guitar up at least once. And then learn how to maintain it. That way you know you are having a problem caused by skill and not by a guitar issue.

Also, do a quick look up at hand placement and how to fret. Wrapping your thumb around the back limits your reach to that Low E string, and causes bad fretting.

Let me know when you figure out what the issue is... or if it is still a problem... I could help with more ideas.

Plus, it will help others with the issue.

I will let you know ! It might be the one that the intonation is slightly off, but it mostly happens with the arcade games from what ive seen up till now. I also need to look up where i can do it cuz im in the middle of no where xD

Well. First the arcade games have their own calibration... So, it wouldn't hurt to run through it there. Second, an intonation issue that is slightly off... say it is slightly sharp, that makes fretting the string correctly even more important.. Takes less to bend it past the recognition limit. That is difficult when you are trying to keep up with the pace of the games. I would suggest to look for that small shop where the school kids get their instruments.

Even if it is a little trip to get it setup, trust me, it is worth it. When I bought my gutiar, the sales person gave it a quick look over and said good enough.. But I was having a few struggles with RS. So I took it to a small shop to do a full setup, the one where my kids take piano at. The guitar tech there is constantly building his own guitars when he doesn't have other work. And the sound difference when I got it back was amazing.
