However, there are those bands that were either influenced by or jazz players at one time, that turned to rock/prog-rock. You'll still see that influence in their song writing from bands like Chicago, Rush, Yes, Thin Lizzy just to name a few off the top of my head. Have a look at the list of bands and you'll likely spot a few others as well.
For now, you can still enjoy the "Rondo Alla Turca" jazz version from the "Bachsmith I" song pack wich might be the closest to what you're looking for. ;)
