Drop B and lower on bass
So i'm new to bass just got one for my birthday and it doesn't seem to detect when i try to down tune to drop B the tuner will just say at +999. Is it something to do with my bass the game or strings? Would love some help thank you

drop B? you mean drop D? it´s harder to detect that low tone, try plucking very close to bridge

the rocksmith tuner is not very accurate, get normal digital tuner or download app to your cellphone

As Zero said Drop B is very low and playing on bass myself i've not come across any songs that use Drop B tuning, it's usually always Drop D. The tuner in RS is a bit funky, you might be perfectly in tune but it wont register or you'll have to spam the note over and over for it to fill the circle and complete, it takes a bit to get used to it. Try a digital tuner and just use the "skip tuning" option if it's proving too much of a hassle. What songs are you trying to play that are in Drop B?
