Possible loose wire in your pickups or ground issue. Does this occur when you plug into your amp?

This is my first time using a guitar and i am borrowing one from my grandmother. Nither of us have an amp.

Ok, you can get a small practice amp at almost any pawn shop. Usually $5 - $15 or you can take it to a shop, (music shop that does guitar repairs), to have a look at it. The cost would depend on them and what they tell is you is the issue.

I really think it's a loose ground, which will do that. If you do take it to a shop, as I would recommend, or have any experienced guitarist look at it. Also, ask them to check the intonation so that you're not returning with your next issue so soon. You'll need that proper intonation for RS.

ughhh, i was hoping for another 10000h+ musician to gripe about how horrible the game's audio engine is, was getting the bonus points ready in case it was a bass player...
nvm though...

On topic, that certainly sounds like a grounding/pup issue... you should start by standing away from the PC and Monitor and see if it is just interference... if it continues, do as Msyn suggested and try it out on an amp, if you still get it while plugged into an amp then it is like 98% possible it is a grounding issue.

FIRST THINGS FIRST- Find out what kind of guitar it is BEFORE doing anything. Don't take it to anyone before you know EXACTLY what guitar it is, take a picture of it and post it here or in forums if you can't determine the make and model. The last thing you wanna do is take your grandma's pre-cbs telecaster/strat to "Joe's pawn and music shop"

Good points that bean mentioned and I forgot. If they try to give you some incredible price for setting up intonation, (say far over $75), keep in mind that you can do it yourself and look it up on the web/youtube & feel savy enough, (that another thing you'll want to know your guitar manufacturer and model as well), if you haven't done this before. I know it's a pain and I wish we could give you a quick fix, but unfortunately, the quickest way to know is with that amp. Best of luck and I hope you get it resolved.

Try setting "Win32UltraLowLatencyMode" value in the Rocksmith.INI file to 0. This will disable some of the new latency-reducing techniques we've added in Rocksmith 2014. It'll add a little latency, but may resolve your audio crackling.

The buzzing still comes back sometimes but i found a way to get rid of it easily. Thanks for all the help everyone! :melon:
