6 weeks :) beginnery
i was just wondering if there was some really fun stuff which ramped up more slowly because I
find it all ok untill 50% ish then suddenly its a nightmare and the jump is quite big
I wanted to find a song which is fun to play and ramps up slowly at most levels
It may sound obvious but you'd better get what you really like to be sure you'll be dedicated :) imo it's the best way to see good results.
It might be hard at the beginning indeed, but practice makes perfect !
Have fun :D
Standart in game songs
-Arctic Monkeys - R U Mine?
Simple hammer on's, cool main riff, has solo, requires fluency hands
-Jack White - Sixteen Saltines
Just 5 chords, slow part with open stings, solo is little hard cuz bends on E string
-System Of A Down - Hypnotize
Cool 2 strings intro, main riff with mini-bare power chords, "♥♥♥♥♥" solo
-The Rolling Stones - Paint It, Black(with capo)
Just play it, its catchy as hell, alternating sections with chords and single notes, intro is little difficult, has solo in end
-The Who - My Generation
Riff is more rhyme than lead(more easy), has cool old fashioned solo
From more difficult songs for beginners
-Radiohead - Paranoid Android
-Muse - Knights Of Cydonia
From DLC songs, I highly recommend to buy "The White Stripes DLC pack" and "Muse DLC pack"
Always choose the most difficulty in the songs(100%), even if you play it will be difficult. Slow down in riff repeater for learning the whole song, when play at full speed. Yes, it's hard, but it's better than learning it gradually in small portions until the game will not give you a new parts. Also, choose two or three songs and teach them just do not teach everything, even if you want to. This will help you focus. Try not to look at the neck. Always be engaged in the exercises and warm up before rocksmith. Try not to just play the song, but also to remember at least part of the song.
