Any reccomendation on USB DAC/Audio Interface

First of all, I'm not asking about not using RealTone cable (even though it would be much better if we can do that) as an input.

My problem is I found that on my laptop, there's a latency problem which is really annoying. I just want to know if there's any audio hardware that works better than onboard sound card. If that actually exist then what are them?

I have an external sound card that i use for my stereo and my pc, it works with rocksmith just fine I have no lag or "latency" problems. Its called ( Sound Blaster X-fi Surround 5.1 by Creative Tech. ltd) with the 3.5mm to 1/4'' adapter for my amplifyer I can also use my Amp as a speaker for rocksmith.

The M-Audio M-Track stuff is pretty good and reasonably priced.

There's also the 2X2 and 2X2M (which has MIDI), for slightly more which means you could do some recording as well.

I'm sorry. I didn't mention that I have a Focusrite Scarlette 6i6 (1st gen). It served me well on DAW and stuffs, but it gave me headaches when it comes to RockSmith. That one's on my PC.

I thought I'm going to play the RockSmith on the laptop as I think it should thow me less headache.

Using your on-board sound card as your output is the best way to get the least latency. The question is... how is your sound out configured? Best would be to a standard pair of desktop speakers, worst would be using an HDMI cable as sound out using your monitor speakers.
