Opening Rocksmith... my guitar doesn't make sound.
So, I use a Guitar Link, my guitar sounds nearly perfect in my speakers, when I open the game and get to the main menu, the sounds of the guitar stops.
I use the "microphone way" (I don't have a mic, the guitar link acts like a mic) cause I don't have a Real tone Cable (too expensive in my country)
I can play perfectly, the game recognize when I play the guitar, but, I have no sound of my guitar :/ (just the sound of the game)

Go into your recording devices and try setting allow applications to take exclusive control. (You need to do this with all audio devices even if rocksmith is not using it speakers too.) You may also want to look at your ingame audio settings and see if you don't have the guitar too low.

Using mic mode the guitar audio will not be played back by the game.

You will have to split your guitar output somehow to another app or amp to hear your guitar.

All my audio devices have that option activated, and no, I don't have the guitar too low, because the configuration in the game is perfect, I can play nearly perfect

So :/ that's the problem... but how to do that? because my guitar is conected to the Guitar Link, and this has an output way (but only reproduce the sounds of the game, if this is open)

Maybe with audio exclusivity off, both the Guitar Link and game may have access to the guitar output at the same time.

I don't know, just have to try.

If that does not work, then you will need a splitter and amp.

Have you tried to set the speakers to listen to the Guitar link in the recording devices properties of your Guitar link? If you open the guitar link's recording device settings, there should be a tab called listen that is normally used to debug the output on a microphone. If you just simply point it to whatever output device you want to be able to hear your guitar on while you play, it may then send the output to both your speakers and rocksmith.

Already activated that option, but Rocksmith ignore that and mute my guitar, and each time, after close the game, my guitar still muted, I have to deactivate an re-activate that option to hear my guitar again.

Did you turn of audio exclusive mode in Rocksmith while trying that in Guitar Link?

Doing both of these at the same time may work.

If I do that, the game says that my experience playing will be afected

I can't remember if mine said that when I turned off audio exclusivity or not.

I turned mine off so I could make videos with FRAPS.

The game works great. No issues. And I can make videos with audio from the game.

Now I can play! I downloaded a .exe called NoCableLauncher.exe, with that I can select the RealToneCable mode (using guitar link) and that solved my problem, I now this isn't the official way to play this, but, that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cable in my country cost $61 :/

Another thing is... I opened the Rocksmith.ini and this file has an option that I think isn't in-game, called "ForceDefaultPlaybackDevice" maybe if I activate that, I can play using the official .exe with the mic mode, but I didn't test that... just saying.
Yea it will always say that because the game with no longer have exclusive access of you're audio drivers.

NoCableLauncher must be launched before the official game, you can make a shortcut in steam to launch it.

when I use this I get the audio error saying that there must be an audio device connected to the game to play it so its either I hear my bass or I hear the game :( any fix?
