P.S. Mac or Windows?
1, Make sure that the mic is turned on in the audio settings
2. Make sure the mic in mixer is at 100%
3. Make sure that the usb mic is the primary input device for your system.
4. Does it work outside the game? Yeah dumb question.
So here is my journey. I have a A-D two channel system that I use to drive my Shure. It didn't work. what I finally did was go buy a used GuitarHero mic. Plugged it in worked with RockSmith. I think there is something in those little usb dongles that makes it work with Rocksmith. Not sure but I went your way and then low tech and low tech worked with the game. I did cut the mic off the cable and solders an XLR on the end to use the Shure. Much better quality.
Also, if you get that to work you can play acoustic with the mic. Works pretty good, I tried it when the Remaster first came out.
Good luck.
I'm new playing rocksmith and my wife enjoy to sing while I'm playing the bass guitar. I thing it would be nice if I buy her a microphone to sing while I'm playing the instrument, so looking for advice if I need to buy an specific microphone brand. I´m using a Windows PC
Nah, not me. I have the mic mostly for recording the Vox amp (Studio One).
Making VGM music mostly..
