Devs IMPORTANT Texts not showed properly, impossible to read or play

I've just bought the game and installed it to mi IMac 27" with MacOS Sierra and when I start the game I can see everything correctly as well as hear it but all the texts like "press to start" or "options" every text which is not an image appear like little cubes, they are just not readable, please help!!! I can post some photos if you need them

Ive seen this kind of stuff on windows .most of the trme it's a vid card update you can also try to change you resolution .

This is PROBABLY due to a corrupted font file somewhere, or your language settings are wrong and are set to a language that you don't have the correct language pack for.
I'd suggest you do an OS file check (sfc.exe /scannow) and make sure you have any language packs installed that you might need and/or that yor language settings are right

Thanks for trying to help but as I said the game is running on MAC, NO WINDOWS AND NO PC, it's a Mac so i'll try the resolution setting to see if something gets better. I've tried to change language of the game to English from steam option but nothing, and checking all game-local-files from steam option not working too. This is the first time i see something like that

I noticed you're in Spain, I believe it's a font issue. Your OS is probably in Spanish but it's probably not Latin America Spanish so that might be throwing the game off.
If you can find what fonts the game uses and install them I would think that should take of your issues.

Reinstall the game doesn't help, I searched which font the game uses but no succeed, where can I fund it? Is it really because of Latin American? No one else in the fòrum has had this same problem, even ppl from Spain like me!!! Help please!!!!

There's no resolution so I have no idea if this problem still persists or not.
I'm afraid as I won't be much help beyond this other than googling for answers.

What language did you install the game as? What is the default language of your OS?

It is possible that if the two are different, that you are missing the language pack for what language you chose when you installed RS. That has a possibility of ending up with the boxes, since the app does not know how to display the letters.

I know this is typical if you were trying Korean on a US OS... I wouldn't think you would have all boxes if installing as spanish, but it all depends on how the OS maps the letters of that language.

New information, I've tryed to install it on my Macbook Pro macOS Sierra but version 10.12.2 (instead of 10.12.4 of my iMac) and it worked just fine, all text and everything. I've been putting same configurations from my Macbook to the iMac (the one of the problems) but it made the same. Trying to restore the original fonts from Font Book app not worked. Now I'm trying to update the Macbook Pro to see if the problem comes from the OS or just a config of my iMac. In my case I installed the game in Spanish (as defect, not optionned given to me) and the OS I have it in Spanish too, in both Macs... So weird thing!!!

Very gratefull to see ppl who's trying to help me, I appretiate it a lot and I try to imbestigate the possibilities you gave me, but no result for the moment.

If it works on one Mac, but not on the other, you could try to clear the font cache. In Terminal enter:

sudo atsutil databases -remove

After this fix file- and folder-permissions with this:

sudo diskutil repairPermissions /

Then reboot. This typically helps with font problems on the Mac I have to use at work.

Please note, that the "fix permissions"-part could take quite a while to finish.

Making what you said grimiog not worked, this is making me f*cking crazy man!!! The way you told me to do does not work in Sierra because Apple has changed the way you restore permissions and now u have to do it like this

I've done the first sudo u told me, the atsutil databases and it worked, but not the next of repairing permissions, so I followed the repair permissions from Apple page. Loading a lot and when finished reboot and it does just the same. In the Macbook, now updated to the last Sierra version, I have no problems, but I want to play the guitar in the iMac because of the bigger screen and better sound. Don't know what to do :(

It's been a while since I had to do it, so I did not know Apple changed this. Good to know, thanks for the heads-up. If it's not fixed until Monday I can ask our Apple-Pro at work, if he has an idea. I'm in vacation right now, so I can't ask him before next week :D

Hmm, if Apple changed things around in the latest version of Sierra I wonder if Ubisoft will need to address this if the game is looking in old places and not finding what it needs.
