First, I should mention that before mentioning requests here, you should request them officially over at https://rocksmith.ubisoft.com/rocksmith/en-us/song-request/index.aspx Because that's where they'll actually receive the requests :P

I've been wanting to make a topic like this for a bit, but with their new request app now is as good a time as any.

I'm kind of curious if we get a few people in here making requests and sharing them here how long it'll wind up being before one of the requests gets into the game. I'll probably try to make at least one request per week to try to keep the topic alive. You can also share reasons for your requests and a link or links to the song(s), but those aren't necessary.

To start it off, my first request using their new app is:

Rush - 2112
They mentioned at some point around the time the Rush II pack came out that they wouldn't be opposed to adding that song just because of the length (over 20 minutes), and told people to request it, so I did. I kind of doubt they would actually add the song in its entirety for the same price as any of the other songs, but I would very much enjoy being proven wrong on that.

I'd like more jazz, funk, soul and blues. Especially since I switched over to bass and... well I guess I'd like more songs where the bass is at the front (so to speak). Those musical styles seem to be where it's at. (correct me if I'm wrong)

I requested your Van Halen songs. However, I wonder if Van Halen falls in the out-of-Ubisoft's-reach catagory, like ACDC, Led Zepelin, Metallica, Pink Floyd, Eagles, etc....

Doesn't work where I live. Otherwise I would have.:)
For some reason only part of that request page loads up.(and it's not the usefull part...)
I guess it's related to China blocking some stuff on the net.

That would be great but they would have to change the interface for the 7th string of course. Actualy, "For the love of god" is avaiable as DLC. Steve Vai used a 7 string to record that, although there is only one note played on the low B-String.

I requested some Rival Sons, Blues Pills and Rory Gallagher. Would be happy with more Blues Rock.
