[RELEASE] My Super Hexagon Fun/Practice Mod v1.1
Hello. I present here my Super Hexagon Mod I created for practicing without limits. You can also use it just to play for fun. It disables death from collisions.

Highscores you get using this are not saved, so this mod won't allow you to cheat.
But still use at your own risk.

Video demonstration: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDsuw4gsFeI

Requirements: The Steam version of Super Hexagon and Windows version at least Windows XP SP 2.
Download link: http://s000.tinyupload.com/?file_id=60015749683873812549

This game is not VAC protected and using this won't result in a VAC ban of any kind.
I can't provide the source code, because then it would be relatively easy to cheat.
VirusTotal is clean:

Does this work on all modes? How could this be used for cheating if modified? I don't see how it could be made more like cheating. Not that I don't like it.

It should work on the arcade mode too. And if I just disabled the forward collision, game would happily upload all times to the leaderboards, the level would be marked as completed, you could see the ending, ... so I had to fix quite a few things.

I dont see how this is relevant or useful. The game is so small it doesnt take long to see everything there is to see.

Well when I finished hyper hexagonest, I found the next stage to be so different I just wanted to access it directly to get used to it (I didn't want to beat hyper hexagonest again everytime I wanted to practice that stage). So I tried to find how to switch modes directly, but I found how to disable forward collisions first and I thought it was fun. So that's my motivation for creating this.

Also I see some people have downloaded it. Did it work? I didn't really test it on other computers, I just hope it works. It would be great to know if it's ok.

why are randomly dying?

Yes it works on an acer aspire netbook. Thanks a lot!

What are you trying to say? If you ask why I'm "randomly" dying in the video, it's because I'm pressing the Escape key. It's the only way to stop the game.

Nice work! I currently won't use it - but it's good to know that it's there!
So, thanks for sharing it! ;)

That's weird. It's still working for me, the game didn't update AFAIK, so it should work. Maybe you didn't enable administrator privileges? What's the error message?

Also I realized that Super Hexagon doesn't need to be launched by steam, you can just run the exe, so I could make a version that does not require administrator privileges, but only if there's enough interest.

But not ever dying does not sound very fun... How about a mod that adds whole new difficulty modes? Now that could be something...

Pffffft. Human ingenuity right there. We will always find a way to make things easier for us to do. I think the game is supposed to be hard, without making it easier, though. Even when it comes to practice. Oh well, I'm just being mean because I had to endure hours of going through hyper hexagonest just to die a few seconds in the final stage. Good job OP.

Apparently, it didn't work on Windows XP. I updated it and it should now work on Windows XP sp2 and up.

Could you accept my friend invite so I could ask you some questions about your process? I'm a programming student and would just like to learn how to read the binary, I really like this game and would like to see what I could do to it that you haven't already. :)
