Known Bugs List
Hey guys and gals,

This is the thread where you'll want to post any bugs encountered within Windborne. A useful bug would be one that accurately describes the issue, along with a consistent way of reproducing/encountering it. For example:

Bug summary:
Woolies turn into monsters after shearing them twice.

To reproduce:
1.) Press "E" to interact with a Wooly.
2.) Wait 5 minutes for the Wooly to grow back its wool
3.) Press "E" to interact with the same Wooly
4.) Wooly transforms into a monster and goes RAWR!

Expected:
Woolies do not turn into monsters.

Thanks for all the help and support!

Not really a bug but a suggestion, when collecting items, the orbs seem to take a bit too long to reach you from high places or even a few steps away. Would be nice to just hit a key and collect it all at once or speed it up a bit. Great game by the way. Has a lot of potential.

oh i noticed that if u break blocks in the air then stop looking at them they float indefinitely (stop sinking down) until u resume looking at them ? why ?
are you guys still looking into blocks going see through and then the game either crashing straight away or it crashing when you try and open up crafting or another menu?

I have v-sync and triple buffering forced in the nvidia control panel (560ti), but there is noticable screen tearing anyway.
There seems to be a moment where the framerate drops considerably when looking in certain areas.... have not seen a commonality or cause yet as it only happened once so far and was gone a few seconds later.
Also, it seems that this game pushes my card above 80 degrees C, the hotest it has ever gotten...

I found a bug - I hit a quest where I had already created a piece (one of the highborne shrines) that's a one of a kind as far as I've seen so far, and I can't move onto another quest without completing this piece.

I've seen at least two of each shrine on every island that I have been on, but you can always create a new island and take one from there.

Players joining your game where the original spawnpoint obstructed by blocks crashes the hosts game (at least it crashed me multiple times when I had a highborn staircase block where the spawn was.)

Throwing blocks down in multiplayer shows the blocks in different locations for different players.

(singleplayer) Switching to another world, then switching back, makes the Jin not want to trade anymore. Restarting hte game fixes this for me.

(multiplayer) Can't see Jin or Wooly's on other players islands.

When playing game tend to crash, alot last 2 houers had me 17 crashes, usualy when walking, i think it started with changing graphical seting to the lowest since i had fps jumps on higher ones

not a bug but more of a performance thing, when picking up item spheres en mass, the game bogs down terribly. when i say en mass i really mean it, sometimes when im taking down my scaffholding there will be over 400 spheres lying around and when i run around and grab em its like a stop motion picture show at times.

tho odly enough it doesnt happen all the time when i do this, i cant replicate it constantly

A few things I noticed playing today:

Quests:

1. Build a desert home with a 100 or more blocks quest quirks:
a. On the build a desert house with a hundred or more blocks, I was able to put blocks down and lift them up and when I reseated them, they counted toward the total (so I only needed to make a fraction of the called for blocks). As I think about it, I was able to do this with a couple of the other quests that required a total number of items used (the granite roof one I think too), but I didn't pay it much attention since I was just resetting one or two blocks.
b. Also on the build a desert home, it says visiting the desert was incomplete even though I've visited the desert previously for other quests. Maybe it needs to be 'return to the desert' or something similar since it obviously wants me to go back to the desert.
c, Finally, it was counting some of the desert railing (I am building a separate bridge) and the doors that I put down towards the house. Would rather the quest read - build a desert structure using 100 of any of the desert items. (I would have much preferred to make more railing, if I would have known it would have counted, than those tacky (to me) wall and foundation blocks...but I thought from the description that only blocks would count, not railing or doors, etc.)

2. Activate Uncommon Desert Shrine, Upgrade to Superb Desert Shrine.
The Shrines are currently called common, fine and superb...either need to change the quest instructions (and list Fine instead of Uncommon) or change the names on the shrines. I suspect this may be true for the other shrine related quests.

Crafting:
Fine Cloth can be crafted as well as being obtained randomly by putting wool in the shaper. Are we supposed to have both options (which frankly I like when I can't get enough of a higher level item randomly, it is nice to be able to make it).

Multiplayer:
When jumping to another player, it was as if I jumped inside that player's avatar (which was a bit creepy and a little too close on the personal space for me)

Hiya! My (now 9) Common Highborn Scrolls that I've gotten from Jin or chests have no 'use' option. If I right click, it just animates itself going into my inventory bag. All other scrolls work just fine.

Sounds like you already know all common Highborn recipes.

Highborn Dresser

You can use 'E' to open and close the top drawer, but if you open the bottom drawer, the 'E' disappears and you can no longer interact with it and need to shift+click to close it.
