Explain how it would be worth playing if people didn't do it?

Rivals especially is the most boring mode that's usually not played by anyone, you collect loot to spend on stuff to make your rival harder which really isn't and progress the "mythical bar of no fun". It's all about running from one place to another like a chicken that lost it's head.
Depending on difficulty you can one shot stuff without cheats and it's all the same boring whenever you can or cannot one shot things.

the pc scene in general is pretty bad yeah. every session has at least 2 or 3 lobbies with people one shotting everything and sometimes they break the game and mobs don't spawn in survival so we will get to 10-14 and just sit there with nothing going on. great community

you need to add germans in there, too. No clues what happened but those kids started to cheat regularly, too. And damn are they more professional about ruining experiences, griefing others and co. because they somehow are affording themselves accounts over accounts.
