Report a translation problem
You get yourself a Masamune, it has a 20% chance to deal double damage. This includes your ultimate ability. I like to use the Moon Stance Perk on it (because of setups, kicking them off cliffs, etc.) + Intimidating Counter. Get both Melee Damage and Ultimate Damage.
You then get yourself Forbidden Medicine and roll the "Assassin Unlock" Perk on it, so you can actually use it, 2nd perk black powder bombs prefered over flash bombs. You could be required to play Ronin for a few matches to have them get dropped, it seems the chances for them to drop is higher using characters they were desgined for. Stats don't really matter here.
Charm? Assassin Charm, chain vanish and hysteria perks on it. Get Stealth Attack Damage on it + Ultimate Damage.
Ghost Weapon 1: Dirt Throw with Rancid and/or Fired Up, Cooldown reduction on Kill is decent, perfect parry window is also quite nice to have.
Or, better: Kunai with "Increased Melee Damage"
Ghost Weapon 2: smokes are great. Stealth attack, CD reduction on kill, again.
Techniques: refreshing vanish, additional legendary, deft hands, overshadowed.
Obviously you can mix and match stuff, replace items (like instead of having "forbidden medicine" you can get yourself "bottle of liquid courage", I would still then get yourself bomb packs instead of getting a bow/blow dart)

Alternative build idea, which does way worse on Nightmare difficulty and isn't that good for raids, but it's still amazing for the rest of the content:
- Masamune (same as above)
- Blow Dart with shield piercing ammo and Hallucination Darts (stealth attack dmg and status effect damage)
- Assassin Charm (same as above)
- Dirt Throw (same as above) Or Kunai's (same as above)
- Smoke Bombs (same as above)
But now you focus on Toxic Vanish, Critical Hit, Deadly Nightshade, Chain Vanish.
This leads to most smaller enemies to fall easily, which then makes enemies attack each other, while also poisoning enemies around it thanks to hysteria perk on the charm (thanks to "deadly nightshade" they get damaged on top of getting staggered and you can get 3 assassinations out of chain vanish stacking) and with Smoke Bomb you keep staying hidden and that allows you to keep chaining assassinations to reduce the cooldown of your abilities.

On Nightmare/Raid/Platinum boss waves you end up encountering high HP pool enemies regularly. This leads to most assassination attempts to fail. A build focused around your Ultimate can 1 shot the majority of enemies "easily".
And the only reason I suggest "Dirt Throw" is to cancel attacks of certain enemies, while also debuffing them.

A situation where you prefer Toxic Vanish over Ultimate build, including "end end game´":
You are dealing with a small group of enemies, and meet up with the rest of your team/someone else holding another position and supoprt them from far away using your poison and hallucination darts.
There is a situation like that in the raid I can recall being that way.
It's also a valid option on some survival maps, if you are jumping around a lot, trying to support different positions at the "same" time, because, thanks to your ultimate, you can easily gap big distances.
