Game won't launch

Hello,

I got this game and since downloading it I can't seem to launch it. I have tried many things such as updating drivers, clearing temporary files, uninstalling the PlayStation runtime thing, and even restarting my computer several times.

Just to be clear, the game launcher doesn't even show and I have tried the force show launcher option. "-launcher" in the steam additional commands.

I am at a loss for what might be the problem. If I don't get a fix before tonight I will try a reinstall. Which will take all night.

If anyone had any ideas, please share them.

Your CPU Intel i7 960 seems to not support AVX and F16C instruction, so it's expected it can't run.
If you're lucky, a good soul will create a patch for your kind of CPU if possible...

What are your PC specs? that may help people figure out the issue as well. As that's so far all I can go off of.

Uninstalling the SDK is probably another issue you haven't tried unless you mean that by "runtime"

im having the same problem what is a SDK. And where do i uninstall it. My specs are 4060 ti with a i5 11th gen wit 32 ram

Okay so i uninstalled the SDK for playstation thing. but it still doesn't launch

My specs are:
Intel i7 960 @ 3.20GHz
18 GB of Ram
GTX 1080

And I believe the SDK is the same as the PlayStation runtime. It's the program that enables the PlayStation overlay. But please correct me if I'm wrong.
