Japanese audio or not?

Did you sacrifice the npc dialogues (since they don't have subtitles) in order to play the game with japanese audio or are you playing the game in your language?

Not that they have it in the game. But if the voices were in Swedish instead (my native tounge), damn. Immersion * poof * :D

Japanese language of course. I don't need to hear npcs dissing me because I prefer to cut throats instead of giving Mongol dogs a standoff. They murder helpless farmers and are without honour.

yup! No subtitles! But the dub in my language is so bad.... I can't really decide

You can't switch to English? The English voice acting is really good.

I'll play through the game the first time (on just Hard) with English.
Then the second time (on the max difficulty) with Japanese.

I recommend using your native language for the best experience.
The english voice acting is great.

I know playing in Japanese is recommend by weebs, but actually understanding the dialog is preferable to having to rely on subtitles in my opinion.

actually is it just me or NPC´s english VO is really so muffled that I just cannot even understand what they ares saying?

Jin's Japanese voice actor is much better, in my opinion. So if reading subtitles doesn't bother you Japanese audio is DEFINITELY the way to go.

English vo is pretty good. JP vo is trash. This is an American game.

Eng Shimura is goated. You are missing half the soul of the game without him.

The problem with Japanese audio isn't the VAs, but rather the fact that motion capture was done with the English performers. They may have fixed the lip sync, but hearing the Japanese VA for Jin yelling while Jin's face remains blank because of the English VA is just incredibly jarring.
