Japanese audio or not?

Did you sacrifice the npc dialogues (since they don't have subtitles) in order to play the game with japanese audio or are you playing the game in your language?

i putted japaneses audio with my own language subtitle. I don't have problem with sub, do you?

so you are missing every dialogue between npcs. It's an hard choice to make, it's like cutting half of the game... I really don't know if I should do the same :(

Japanese. For me it would feel weird and out of place if i went with english. Sure i might miss out on the npc gossip but i'm ok with that

villagers talk one another. With japanese audio, there are no subtitles, so you just hear them talking in japanese without understanding anything.

what? npc dialogues have no subtitles?? wtf? ..i mean nobody at Sucker Punch realized that if we need subtitles for the Japanese VO during cutscenes etc then we also need subtitles for NPCs? what a shame

I started with Japanese and english subtitles but it was distracting from the visuals so I went back to english dub

it's not gossip. They talk about legends, stories, or even character that you are going to meet later in the game. They even talk about your deeds.

it would have been ok if the main hero wasnt a Japanese, so it would be ok that he does not understand so dont we ...but he is a Japanese, so ...

yup! No subtitles! But the dub in my language is so bad.... I can't really decide

Japanese all the way, subtitles on my own language.
I can be weird when you're sometimes on horseback or traveling and NPCs are talking to you, but you get used to it pretty fast

Japanese because the game takes place in Japan, cant understand the random NPC dialogue fully but I dont see it as a big issue, I've already picked up on a few basic words so I'll atleast know when they're talking about the "Ghost" for example
