Favourite armour?
I find myself switching between:

1. Hero of Tsushima Armor with the Night Ocean Headband; and

2. Ghost Armor (1st upgrade's look with default colour and cape) with Ghost Headband.

Probably the two best armors in the game is Kensei Fire build, and Sarugami Perfect Parry/Perfect Dodge infinite kunai build.

So Kensei Fire build is brutal for world combat against large groups of enemies. Just remember this: Your two major charms should be the Fire one (fire deals more damage and spreads upon heavy attack to surrounding enemies) and the Versatility charm on Iki

Minor charms: one Fire-based minor charm in every available category. For utility get the +50% likelihood for percentage-based effects to proc.

if you like to terrify them less or experiment, you can also try the +50% duration and damage to status effects.

-----

Sarugami reminds me of a true Swordmaster (ironic, as Kensei means Sword Saint): puts an emphasis on defense through skill with the blade (perfect parry) and footwork (perfect dodge) and rewards that with unique sword attacks.

My only suggest is to max out your PP/PD windows and resolve gains, so that you can spam Heavenly Strike and Dance of Wrath with all that Resolve you'll be farming with Perfect Parries and Perfect Dodges ALL THE TIME.

As for your second Major rune, feel free to run whatever. Personally, I think Heavenly Strike is fun. Even more unique sword stuff.

Yeah I've tried both these builds, the problem is that it makes the game TOO easy. I actually like the combat in this game, including the parry system etc, so I have fun when I take on groups of enemies with nothing but parrying+attacking.

Theoretically, you could make the entire game easy by just combining Versatile Skills charm with the Foraging one (that gives you total of 30% chance to get back kunai ammo on melee kills)... then you can just kunai everyone to break their guards and mash attack to kill them all and get your kunai back in the process.

Yeah there's lots of builds in this game that make it too easy and not to my liking lol.
