Black Artifacts with DLSS Frame Generation.
There is an issue when using DLSS frame gen where black artifacts (horizontal black boxes and lines) appear during cutscenes especially at the beginning and ending of cutscenes.

This issue was noticed by both Digital Foundry and Before you Buy.

It goes away when turning off DLSS frame gen and isn’t present with fsr3 frame gen.

I suspect it has to do with the black cinematic bars.

I don’t know if it is only limited to ultrawide resolutions as I play on a 32:9 monitor.

I also have a RTX 4090 with the latest Nvidia drivers.

Please fix this in the next patch as it is very distracting.

It likely has something to do with some cutscenes being prerendered videos

But yeah Nixxes needs to learn how to use the Nvidia Omniverse Tools better because Frame Generation is pretty much broken in Horizon Forbidden West too where it doesn't gain you much but causes all kinds of issues and all their ports could make use of Omniverse's tools to optimize texture and mesh VRAM usage.

It's due to the top and bottom black bars that are rendered in-engine and appear to be interpreted as part of the game environment by FG.

Here's hoping that a mod will come out that disables those.
