Multiplayer gamers are among the most rabid subset of gamers. If they were allowed to buy games from countries without PSN, they would have flooded the game with refunds and negative reviews complaining about lack of multiplayer.
Sony got ahead of the problem.
Not enough since its the most successful Sony singleplayer launch ever
I doubt that
Doubt what... its already be proven by Steam itself. Sorry but Sony hasnt felt anything. In fact Ubisoft gave Ghost a free publicity and player count boost with the Shadows trailer disaster.
Better luck next time. The boycott has failed miserably. In the end people want to play good games more than sticking together with people they dont know.
I bought Spiderman Remastered, Miles Morales, Days Gone and Death Stranding without problems. But because of PSN, my copy of GoT was refunded.
That is truly the worst thing ever. I am happy for all of you who are enjoying the game, but a bit of solidarity could be nice. Maybe this situation affects just people from the blocked regions, but mark my words. Sony saw that we can shut our mouths, and it’s next steps will be more dramatically.
They set record for simultaneously playing players, not for sold copies. GoT 77 thousands, God of War 73 thousands.
