Dualsense Controller changes sound
Whenever i try to use my Ps5 controller the gets quiet and my sound arguably worse.
I tried changing the gamepad audio option back and forth but there was no difference.

The problem here is when I play on cable with dualsense to have haptic feedback. The sound becomes quieter. If I use the keyboard and mouse the sound becomes loud again, but as soon as I use the analog stick the sound becomes low.
Apparently it doesn't happen if I use Bluetooth, but then I lose the haptic feedback.
* Yes, the PC sound is in the headphones and not in the dualsense output.

Had the same issue, going into Windows settings > System > Sound > Manage Sound Devices and disabling the DualSense speaker seemed to fix it.

True but this also disables haptic feedback :/

All Sony controllers present themselves as handsets, windows by default switches to handset class devices and additionally lowers volume to 80% for all sound output devices.

It's in Windows settings > System > Sound > Advanced > More sound settings > Communications tab, you can change that to Do nothing.

My haptics stilll work. Are you sure Steam Input isn't enabled? I've had it turn on by itself a few times, and that disables haptics,
