You can try and roll back, there has been people who said that doing that, the issue went away
You will have to wait I guess.. let's hope the devs fix this, i've been trying to play legends with a friend and he also has the pc sdk issue and also has the 24h2 version of windows
Funny you mention this, after a bit of back and forth they noticed I'm on dev build from my logs, they also said to change to stable channel and see if that fixes anything. I personally don't see why a dev build would cause a stack overflow in their dll but hey I've seen Windows do weirder things, If it fixes anything for me I'll add a reply so if anyone else is on a build we at least have a start of a "solution"
Their SDK team is aware of the issue, see below.
However, every time i launch the game, it tries to re-installl itself according to Windows Event viewer even though it quite clearly is already installed.
And when i exit the game, the PsPcSdkUI.exe crashes every time.
Regardless of the deletion of specific files,
Sometimes restarting Windows is the key to get it to work properly.
Today I had to reboot three times to get a successful connection.
Of course, you have to start the game and check it after each reboot.
Could something linked to the Windows startup process be causing the error?
I believe that this is the case.
"Go to the game folder
run pspcsdkruntimeinstaller.msi
then go to C:\ProgramData\Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc\PSPC_SDK\S22\2.13.00.01
and run pspcsdkappmrg.exe. run the game. the problem should be fixed. it fixed for me"
A friend of mine was also in the dev build of windows insider, the only way to get it to work was by reinstalling windows via a usb drive :/
this is the solution you can see everywhere, my problem is whenever I try to open pspcsdkappmrg.exe manually, it just won't open. I can only open the game when i completely delete the sony interactive entertainment.. is it possible that this pspcsdkappmrg.exe file is just incompatible with my system? I tried everything, admin rights etc. etc... I played 90 hours of singleplayer without any issue, now I really wanna play legends.. I run windows 10 version 22H2.. really love the game and would love to 100% it.. any news on this issue for others?
went to microsoft website download window 11 23h2 version iso file
install it (also it resets your pc so umm)
finished setup download the game
and now the playstation works fine
no more sdk issue
