That said, the flute playing lady in that opening cutscene looks cool as hell. I'd have picked that up if she was the MC back then, haha. Though I can tell the game'll just make you kill her later or whatever because she's leading the ghost forces. That's a nice intro though. I liked the fade in bit there that they did.
Edit: Oh, her lower outfit looks bad. Oh well, wcyd. PS3 era and all.
Ah, yep, they kill Atsumori, siiiiigh. Glad I skipped that one now.
Gameplay wise it looks like they tried to merge two previous titles: Ninja Gaiden and Onimusha. Both were suffering in the camera department naturally.
Don't forget it also had real time weapon change.
Its easy to rip it apart two decades later, but man, going form PS2 into the first few launch months of PS3 that game was bussing like crazy. First game to get fire pretty well. Yes, it was like pre souls like Ninja Gaiden fusion.
