The Horse is a bit disappointing
It's basically only has two speeds and is essentially a digital input rather than a true analog input with no intermediate speeds. That makes it too slow when it's walking and too fast when galloping meaning it's easy to miss stuff along the way. It really should be able to work with variable speeds just like when you are on foot.

Other than that it's a pretty good game so far but man I wish the horse controlled like it does in Assassin's Creed games since AC Origins because it would make exploration from horseback more enjoyable than being stuck with just 2 speeds

I also wish the horse was faster, or the distance between locations was much more realistic and less ridiculous. My grandma can get somewhere faster than the horse.

I do appreciate that it is a very smooth transition when being whistled and getting onto it compared to some games (as long as it isn't in your view).

Actually galloping around at full speed all the time is the exact opposite of realistic. Do that with a real horse and you'll kill it or it will come up lame. That's why the Pony Express had riders switch horses every 10 to 15 miles because that's the limit you can expect a horse to go full gallop without ruining the horse

Has absolutely nothing to do with what I said.

Yah, pretty much what I do. Honestly a simple gallop for medium speed would do it.

Yeah, think it needs a middle speed too.
