The impact of Loss quest ALWAYS crashes after talking to Hotoke
Game always crashes no matter what after her dialogue is finished and it goes into what i believe is the intro title quest thing that all missions have. Even loaded up cheat engine to blast the way throughh it at 10x speed but no dice.

Validated steam files no issues, only time in the game I am ever or have crashed.

I had the same issue and got it fixed, but I don't know exactly what fixed/caused it.

I first fast traveled to Tsushima then back to Iki, turned Vsync, upscaling, and frame generation off. I then set the graphics to the Very Low preset, and talked to Hokote. I got past the dialogue without issue.

800X600 resolution during the dialogue fixed it for me

Setting the resolution to 800x600 when speaking to Hotoke worked for me as well, thanks for the help.

I lowered the resolution before speaking to her and the set it back to hi-res after the quest start screen and it worked fine.

Yup. Reducing the resolution when speaking to hotoke is the correct answer. Still works on pc. Thanks.

Had the same issue, turning off v-sync and lowering the graphics to very low stopped it crashing. Turned everything back up again after.
