Sucker Punch plz make another Sly game :(

We legit need another Sly Cooper game. If Sucker Punch is worried that it will sell poorly like the previous games, keep in mind that the PS5 has a bigger install base and that it being available on PC will make it sell like crazy. Not to mention, it won't be competing for attention with other platformer franchises like it did on PS2, so it will have plenty of opportunity to stand out from all the other bland realistic open world games.

I know Sucker Punch is very invested in making Ghost of Tsushima games, but the Sly series is unique and what got them recognized and it would be a shame if they didn't pay respects to that series by releasing a new game since now seems like the perfect time to do that seeing how there aren't many platforming games on the market. I guarantee that now would be the best time to release a new game and it will not only satisfy veteran fans that have been waiting forever, but also introduce Sly to a wider audience that have never played any of the previous games.

I still hope there is passion from the devs to make a new game and that Sony isn't stingy about making it happen. Insomniac still managed to make a Ratchet and Clank game that released not too long ago.

Soft reboot approach, but Sly somehow gets out of Egypt. If you Google search "Sly 5 Concept Art" by Pierre Mareschal then you'll see some interesting ideas of Sly being in a futuristic setting. That could open up the possibility for a whole bunch of cool ideas like him being in an alternate timeline where Clockwerk still lives and spreads his influence all over the world. Meanwhile, Sly is still looking for his missing friends and love interest.
