hero of tsushima armor

hi,

i just finished the tutorial and there are armor pieces called hero of tsuchima in my inventory.
sometimes games add overpowered gear as "super easy mode for honks" into the game, and i wonder if this armor set is exactly that.

its clearly better than the opening equipment, but i obviously cant know wether it falls off in usability quickly without doing reseach, which i dont want to do.

in your opinion, should i treat it as nonexistent and avoid it like the plaque?

It's supposed to be a NG+ item that you get instantly because of the "deluxe edition" BS or something.

It's pretty weak armour, it's okay for the first like hour or two, it'll be replaced soon lol

Its just starter gear. You cant upgrade it so it quickly becomes obsolete in the early game.

Id otherwise have tried to destroy, throw away or sell it. i dont know wether i even can do that yet though.

you can't. I'd say just leave it. That's what I've always done.
