GPU crash with 6950xt AMD driver 24.5.1.

Am i the only one who got crashes rarely? My game is crashing like hourly, is there anyone who also got this problem?

Revert to 24.4.1 for start, latest driver is buged.

Try using AMD Cleanup Utility and Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to completely uninstall (removing all all leftovers) your prior display driver version before installing/upgrading to Adrenalin 24.5.1 driver (download and use the official standalone Adrenalin driver package).

Anyone tried with FSR 3 and frame gen off, to change AA from FSR to TAA or something else? I don't have constant crashes had about 2-3 so far.

i have fs3 and i too has rare crashes, like i had at least 3, thankfully the checkpoint system is amazing so i did not need to do major backtrack, i was just curious that people are aware that the game has a problem like this, now i see they are so hopefully a fix will come, at least in a form of a new amd driver

at the moment the really worthwhile solution is to install older drivers or reduce the RAM frequency by 2200 in the BIOS

I just suggested it because I also did it and have had no issues since the release. RX 7900 XTX here. I played the game during extended sessions and haven't had a single game hang/crash issue or stuttering issues, even using Xess/FSR 3 upscaling and FSR3 Frame Gen. Anyway, I hope this gets sorted out for you.

Revert to 24.4.1 WHQL, it works for me on RX 7800 XT

There will be some graphical issues but no crashing - Hopefully

People with Nvidia gpus are having issues / crashing too rtx 3070/3080 rtx 4080/4090
plus people with Intel 13th gen and 14th gen cpus are having problems.

Does this mean every single person with those hardware combos are having issues, NO lol.

i have a 6900xt with a 5900x and i only got one crash after a windows update. i pretty much just updated my amd drivers again and the problem was gone.

im not saying this fix will work for everyone but what worked for me was to roll back the 24.4.1 from the newest 24.5.1 and when trying to play with 24.5 my game was crashing nonstop i rolled back and have been able to play for multiple hours with no crash but I've also read some people say they tried rolling back and it was still crashing its just whats worked for me im running a 7800XT hellhound and i7-11700k MSI Tomahawk z590
