question about 120 fps

for those that play the game at high/max on 4k will it get to 120fps on a 3090, or even if dropped to 1440p is that achievable? thanks! (don't have it yet)

Max out at 4k I get an avg of 144 fps on my 4090 so I'd guess your old card would get around 100-110 fps.

Max settings....no

I have a 4080 and 7800X3d and with DLAA and Frame Gen I have to tweak settings to get 120.

dont put shadows and volumetric fog on ultra, in 1440p its achievable but idk about 4K this game has like one of the most stable frametime i've ever seen in any video game anyways so even 90fps feels extremely good

144 sounds ok-ish if true on the 4090 maxed, I always skip a gen though so will be hopping on the upcoming 5090 rather than a 2 year old card just for this game to get above 120 or just turn down the settings a little till then to keep it around there.

try lossless scaling... does what you want to do with minimal graphics glitches from frame gen interpolation... i'm doing 5120x 1440 at 120hz on my 3090.
