Try realy every step form the HDR max Brightness slider settings in game .
On my Monitor its Exactly 897 . Just wehn i put it to for example to 896 or 898 than HDR is not working correct. Try it from 100 to 1500 in single steps .
good luck .
There are some issues with the ingame max brigthness slider though, on some steps it washes out the image, on others it's completely fine, i hope nixxes fixes hdr issues (like paper white setting only affecting UI)
Not knocking your monitor, my benq is also only HDR400, but im just stating the facts. There are very few actual true HDR monitors on the market sadly, and they are very expensive. That being said, my "HDR" works fine on my monitor.
The thing is, his comment is completely wrong since GoT has been the ONLY program where I've had this issue happening. Not only that, I've already stated that HDR for this game DOES work whenever I play on Windowed mode, which is what's weird.
I know what you mean, my monitor is definitely not top-tier, but it's not my monitor's fault. It's the game's, and I've already finished the game and its DLC on windowed mode. So much for waiting for a patch lol.
are you on windows 10 or 11 btw?
