PS5 controller causing game to crash

So I found the cause of my game crashing on start up, its using a PS5 controller.

It only works if I set the controller as steam input, which means none of the dual sense additions work.

Anybody have any solutions?

i have the same issue, any input from the dualsense crashing to desktop... using xbox(gulikit) controller was the only way for me play. Hopefully an update fixes this.

Nope. I use my PS5 controller just fine with its abilities turned on in this game and many others.

what's DualSense firmware version?

Not really i use Dual Sense Steam input. Game works fine, and the heptic (bow) works.

Dual sense edge with the latest firmware works flawlessly with steam input.

yup same here, my dual sense working fine except that i play with steam input disabled

Just got myself the volcanic red controller and it still crashes, tried dsX and ds4 as well

God, I found out about that today. It took me HOURS/DAYS.

For anyone who can make use of this information. The controller software is A-0458 (Up to Date)

I use Xbox Elite Series 2 controller, it's better.
