Bought this game on Epic Games Store and it isn't starting

Really excited to start playing but can't find the forum feature on the store. I'm getting some weird error like 0x887A002B. Anyone know about this problem / how to solve it? Thanks

What errors was it giving you on Steam?

It just wouldn't launch, other times it gave me some error message and on the rare occasion when I managed to get to the main menu, it ran absolutely awful.

to op this will fix your error: changing compatibility mode fixes it, simply go to the game on steam, properties, find the exe, properties, on top youll see compatibility click that and check mark compatibility mode and set it to windows 8.

Looks like you can't read, they said they have the game on Epic, not Steam

its the same process i just copy pasted it on another thread i had helped with out of laziness of not tying it again he could simply find it in his files explorer if he wanted to

Don't listen to them, idk how new you are to Steam but this is how it goes typically
