You're probably right about that. Also ban will not really help since they can just create a new account and start over, how do you propose they sort out people playing illegal copies without using some overly intrusive methods?, not gonna happen.
Yeah, i played with 3 other lads but the legends mode is very underwhelming, attack this, defend this, the upgrade system is basically just your average incremental gearscore and rarity system which is not great.
Still despite online being fairly dull it still makes me laugh how fast they got it working, doesn't matter what Sony does now, people that were excluded from the purchase will most likely not buy it and they deserve to lose that money.
Hopefully they learn from their mistakes (yeah right) but not likely considering this is their new policy towards all their pc ports.
Speak for yourself, all the potential customers locked out of their purchase sure does care if they want to try legends mode. Also this is far from being a generic open world game, I'd have to direct you to Ubisoft games for that.
Don't get me wrong, it's a good game, but the stupid bamboo mini-game, collecting flowers for cosmetics, encounters that give you the tiniest amount of xp, going back and forth between areas.
Tbh I'm fine with some more intrusive methods being used as long as they take proper legal action against pirates.
ok but what about his first question, about what pirating would do to ruin online mode? i'm not trying to be contrarian here, i'm genuinely curious, as the thread topic states that pirates can do online with achievement overlay? does the pirates getting achievements take something away from the experience of others?
