KBM all the way.
Changes I made : Dodge from LCTRL to Middle Mouse Wheel Click
it's so convinient. LCTRL is now for ranged weapons.
Sry maite, no clown for you.
Now years later, owning a PS4/PS5 i completely got used to playing with controller as well, but 98% of the time i still enjoy playing with KBM way, way more. Not even a competition. There are very few games where i prefer controller over KBM.
I would say controller is better for fighting games (Tekken, Mortal Kombat) and for small amount of 3rd person games, like for example Marvel's Spider Man, because swinging and fighting feels better with controller in that game. But for everything else it's easily KBM over controller. I have heard that controller is also better for "Souls" games, but i can't speak on that, because i don't play these games.
Just looking around with camera, moving character, everything is just way more faster, more accurate and more responsive with KBM (unless you use aim assist, but that would be nonsense with KBM).
Also, being able to infinitely control how fast/slow you move with a controller makes it leagues, mother effin' leagues, better than a kb/m can ever be that can't control this.
but when I'm playing vs AI opponents in a single player game, I want to kick back and relax, not be in the sweat mode position crouched at my desk.
I don't need an MLG M+K to play a single player game.
Yes, it's awkward on M+KB. Don't listen to all these clowns, most of these kinds of games are better played with a controller. The only downside is aiming, but it's such a small part of this game that it won't matter. Anyway, if you have a gyro on your controller, you can set it up gyro mouse in Steam Input in just a few clicks.
However, this particular game feels a lot nicer on the native DualSense. The haptic feedback and additional speaker really add to the atmosphere. Too bad that you have to play wired on PC and disable Steam Input for it (so no gyro mouse aiming), but it's not an FPS, so it's a minor problem.
