Touchpad on Dualsense (PS5)

Has anyone figured out a way to get the touchpad working on PS5 controllers? I've disabled Steam Input, plugged into USB-C. I get everything working correctly (haptic triggers, vibration) but for the life of me I can not get the touchpad (swipes specifically) to work.

Any help greatly appreciated.

i just plug and play, it worked automatically..

My issue is getting my controller's speaker to work. It worked randomly for 2 seconds against the big shield dudes and then nothing.. Everything else works fine for me though.

For me they work just fine, I swipe up to get the wind direction to show me the next objective etc.

Does the swipe work in other games? if everything other functionality works, are you sure it's not your controller?

Swipe functions don't work until you get to the official title drop/Act 1 and are actually free to roam around. If you did get to that point and it still doesn't work then idk try making sure playstation controller support is disabled in the Steam settings.

Did you guys finish the intro yet? After the title card appears in a cutscene, only then the touchpad features are sort of unlocked. Only the wind first, anyway

Works perfectly for me. DualSense via Bluetooth, Steam Input disabled, DS4Windows configured to disable itself while the game is in focus.

Just plugged the pad, it works perfectly.
No third party sw, I've not touched steam input settings.

Hi, I have not any issues and I dont know if this helps, but you can donwload a firmware update for your PS5 controller from Sonys Website

Wired it works flawlessly, Update controller firmware is a good idea but it should work perfectly. Oh and Disable Steam Input.
