Game skips all cutscenes and interactions

Bought the game and instantly noticed that the game is skipping all dialogue and getting me to the next scene, already updated drivers and tried multiple settings.
I start a new game and as soon as I start it it just fast fowards all dialogue and cutscenes before I can even blink, has anyone have any solution? or possible fix?
I am running on a all ryzen pc with a ryzen 5 3600 and rx5500 XT.

Having the same issue here, tired to change some of display setting and graphics but the same thing happens...
Saw couple of people having it with no solution let me know if you were able to fix it!

I think you got from one of the repacks, you have to download other languages too to hear the dialogues. Assuming you're trying to play in Japanese, download Japanese audio as well while downloading. Otherwise play with English audio you won't face any issue.

You wouldn't happen to be trying to play in Japanese with English subtitles, would you? If so, you might want to re-verify your game files and make sure that the Japanese language pack is installed.

I own ghosts of Tsushima. I got all the way through the main game. Got to the DLC, the island, and now my game is skipping cutscenes. The bottom line here is that the game is programmed incorrectly for the PC port.
I'm going to tell everyone I know not to buy it. Validating game files did nothing to solve the problem, and no files were replaced.

It happens because a *.ini file of your "nodvd" has a different language setting then your language setting in the game menu. Make it the same.

that should be the standard in all games anyway, to be able to be rid of cutscenes
