and make sure you have the dualsense wired, as they don't work when wireless...
Edit: steam should do it for you, but make sure steam input is disabled for sushi. You should always disable steam input for games with native dualsense support if you want to use a dualsense.
Maybe the game doesn't think it's a real Dualsense, because i deactivated it's speaker? But if i activate it again, the game gets way quieter somehow. Maybe because it translates the Dualsense speaker signal into a PC speaker signal? That's really weird. And as soon as i switch back to keyboard, the sounds and music get loud again. Playstation Controller makes the games volume -50%
Just set your default audio device in windows. Did you make sure that steam input is off for ghost?
And i think the game only gets quieter because i had set it to Surround, which usually is quieter than Stereo - but why would it randomly get louder when touching the keyboard
the only fix is it enable steam input and lose dualsense features - then the audio stays at full volume.
but with all the full DS suite of features on, there is a bug that lowers volume by a considerable amount with any input from the controller.
it's been reported to the devs. so my guess is we'll get it fixed in a patch or two.
it's not a surround only thing - i tested that too... i tried every speaker config, i even plugged my receiver in and actually played in surround sound. the volume still jumps 5db+ with dualsense input vs kb/m
There is currently a bug with the Dualsense speaker working on & off
