the issue is Sony will flag you as a cheater aswell seem you are playing with one so they will banned you and put a strike on ur account due to simply playing with a cheater and the cheaters tend not to play properly aswell such as going for objectives and turning hard mode on for extra rewards seem they just cheat gear.
overall it hurts the whole playerbase seem them cheaters can also reset ur gear and rank if you are not careful.
They never said it was anti-cheat. PSN has reporting features for violations that steam does not have. You can report cheaters, griefers etc.
3 of them played Hunter and spammed their Ult without breaks or refilling Resolve, oneshotting everything on spawn - this is the most common one. They don't even animation cancel, just keep hitting their ult.
Then there was a guy with a damage hack who killed even Elder Oni Lords on Nightmare with just 1 regular normal sword attack. The guy literally walked up, did 1 lame ass hit and poof the strongest enemy in the game died instantly. This is not possible even with the absolute best builds in the game. If it had been any lesser enemy, maybe, if you use your ult or damage multipliers correctly, but not an Elder Oni Lord on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Nightmare.
If you see someone like these they are 100% cheating.
They probably think you won't notice, but it's too obvious.
However, you cannot report it. This game does not provide such an option. So you either have to endure it or leave if it ruins your fun. Very unfortunate but since it's not a live service game I doubt there will be a patch or anticheat.
As for the cheaters, it's kind of pointless. If you aim to 100% complete the game you have to do the Tales of Iyo, and I do not think there is any way you can cheat your way through all of those without the help of other players. In the end it will come down to knowledge, skill and teamwork either way no matter how hard you try to cheat, so they will likely quit eventually realizing that.
Overall a sad situation, because the fun in the Legends mode is to fight together...
