Hardware:
RTX 3070 Ti 8GB.
i7-12700K (stock speeds).
32GB DDR5 Memory.
Is installed on a SSD.
Lastest windows 11 updates.
Lastest video drivers installed.
G-SYNC is turned on for monitor.
Game's at 1080p, high preset, 60 refresh rate. After a few hours my frame rate is all
over the place, dipping into the 20's or so and staying there, that's till I restart the game.
Yeah it's not a PS4 game. People keep saying that but that was just the original version. It was redone and updated for PS5 and the port is a port so how it runs on PC relative to the PS4 version isn't really relevant.
I wish people were not having issues. For me it runs 100-170 frames on all max settings with no DLSS but with DLSS it runs 170 frames. So far, I am only 4 hours in, it might get worse later I will keep testing.
Things to note I use RTTS to lock my frame depending on game so if I am going for 60 frames I lock to 57 and if I am going for full monitor refresh I lock to 167.
I have 65GB Ram, Ryzen 7900X, 4090. Play in 1440p in exclusive (or borderless) window 1440p.
My monitors are GSYNC so I use that with Vsync turned off. Gives me solid frames and completely solid Frametime line in this game. Probably one of the better ports I have played.
A lot of ports or PC games have wild frametime spikes all over the place (like Jedi Survivor) but this one has 0 spikes for me.
The game was not redone for ps5. It received an update for higher resolution and frame-rate that you had to pay for. It is still pretty much a ps4 game and it looks like it.
you have a 4090. I'm not surprised the game runs acceptably for you.
ryzen 7 5700x
Developers not optimising their games properly is the real reason. 8gb cards deliver trash performance because of this.
I had a 3070 Ti until recently and it was pain. Now I have a 16 GB 4070 Ti Super and it just laughs at VRAM hungry games. Still, Nixxes should do better. This is a PS4 game at its core!
it was not free

my original point still stands. improved frame-rate, resolution, and better load times. It's still a ps4 game.

Most modern releases are the same. Lucky to get 60 frames at native 1440p these days.
Butter smooth?
