Best anti aliasing and ambient occlusion option for gtx 1080 ti?
Which anti aliasing (TAA, AMD FSR AA, XeSS) and ambient occlusion (SSAO Quality, HBAO+, XeGTAO) is the best performing? Is there a notable difference in terms of quality between them?

Best option is to replace your 9yr old GPU.

Got the same card. AA: TAA and SSAO quality. I only played the first 45 mins, but it was not taxing on my card at all, average 80% load. (2k, High quality settings.)

TAA is the best anti aliasing in this day and age and is very light performance wise.

Wrong

DLSS/DLAA is currently the best AA solution.

As for OP. Your GPU is too old for DLSS sadly. So I would try TAA or FSR and xegtao since it the best looking but I don't know how much optimized it is so maybe try hbao+ or ssao.

When the game developers tell you the minimum card is a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 but some goofy ass tells you to replace your stronger card.

Mainly due to minimum can be with everything turn down so low - it is not really worth playing. And TBH fair the 1080Ti was a great - amazing card even not just for it's time but the generation after - BUT it is now really starting to get long in the tooth and showing its weakness not so much anymore just by its years - but by each new release.

I still have my 1080Ti as well - it now does my Plex server transcodes :P.
