Game crashes after Launcher (FIXED)

After searching a lot on the discussions, I found what at least solved my problem, and maybe can solve yours

Go to your Windows, search for Apps and uninstall "Playstation PC SDK"
If you don't find the app, that means is not installed yet
Go to your game files and install the "PsPcSdkRuntimeInstaller.msi"
After that, restart your pc (only for precaution) and then try the uninstall process again
After the install, I've uninstalled it and started the game and it works fine now

I've done this. Uninstalled the PsPcSdkRuntimeInstaller.msi. Seems to be working for everyone, but not me.... still black screen. Deleted the .exe in the game folder to see if it'd do anything. I at least got to the good 'ol Sony logo, but that's it...

I just spent $60 and an hour trying to fix this :/. Should I just refund?

EDIT: Turn off frame generation! If you need to get the launcher back, right click the game and go to Properties > General > type "-launcher" at the bottom text box.

My friend was going to do this and actually double clicked the install file and just by doing that and launching it worked. Find the "Playstation PC SDK" and click it to download and then launch, if it doesnt work then follow above options too

Unfortunately this means you can't play multiplayer... as it's required to use for multiplayer.

So until a REAL fix is made, no Legends.

Did you turn off frame generation after removing it? That's what I had to do when it didn't work. See the top comment.

This didn't work. Frame gen wasn't on to begin with.

My situation was that the game crashed (even the PC most of the time) after showing the first frames of the main menu (sometimes the privacy window appeared). The only thing that helped to circumvent that problem (tried everything that was mentioned in the other threads) was to quickly switch to windowed mode (ALT+Enter) when the logos show. Afterwards the screen can be configured in the options menu again. Haven't played yet but at least the menu doesn't crash anymore.
