PS5 Dualsense Controller Audio

How do you get the controller audio to work?
The "Gamepad Audio" feature is off and grayed out in the 'Options>Gamepad' game option.

Are you using wired? As far as I know, windows does not support controller audio over bluetooth

im wired in, its greyed out for me

To me as the same... "Gamepad audio" feature grayed out "disabled" in the "Options>Gamepad" game's options.

Yes, controller is plugged in via usb cable. Tried switching to different sound outputs and settings in Windows, but still no luck getting audio through the controller. I guess this feature only works on PS?

Does it have haptic feedback and triggers? You may have steam's controller settings messing it up.

edit: Make sure that under settings -> controller -> "playstation controller support" it is set to "enabled in games w/o support.

The solution to me was: "Right-click a game in your Steam library. Go to the 'controller' panel. Disable Steam Input from there."

I was having the same issue - ^^ This fixed it for me; Realised I still had headphones selected as the audio type....Would be counterintuitive to have sound coming out of the controller while I had headphones on...
