I have all the settings turned up to the max with 4k but the game is very blurry for some reason. Does anyone know why?

lol, do you have a 4080 or above?

That's whats needed for 4k max.

Not true I play on 4k max settings with only a RTX 3080Ti

That would have nothing to do with blurry graphics. He most likely has FSR or DLSS turned down to a lower setting.

im playing on a 2060 super and its not blurry to me. so the issue might be you and not the game itself

turn depth of field off

It's because the game uses TAA anti-aliasing, which is hot ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Not much you can really do about it unless there's a sharpening filter in the options. Most modern AAA games are the same way since DLSS requires TAA.

Yeah, but you're not playing at 4K on a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 2060 Super because I have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 2060 Super and I'm playing on 1440p.

I was wondering if that made the game look better or not? I have it set to very high, but might see what it looks like with it off.

You can change the AA in the game but only IF you're NOT using DLSS, which most people are, also you can change it if you're using dynamic resolution scaling. If OP ran the game with zero upscaling then he could change the AA in the game.

When I installed the game the default anti-aliasing mode was set to FSR3. You might wanna check your settings and change them to something else. This game has TAA, DLSS and FSR3. I would recommend changing the settings in the launcher before you launch the game.

Ah, at least there's an option to use a different AA. Most modern games just force you to use TAA these days. But without DLSS the game would probably be unplayable in 4k

FSR OR DLSS

use DLAA bro only way to roll
This worked for me.
Turn off Dynamic resolution scaling, then Upscale method to off and switch Anti-Aliasing to SMAA T2X.

Turn off temporal BS or SMAAT2X. Also make sure the resolution is the same as your windows.

Go to your Home Screen with the sword sticking out of the ground and you can demonstrate to yourself why the following settings are the best. I set my resolution to 4096x2160 and turn DLSS off. Cycle thru all of the anti aliasing settings (you can watch them change in real time without hitting the apply button) and pay close attention to the handle of the sword, but especially the blades edge. Do you notice how some settings make the whole blade look blurrier than others, while also creating jaggies along the edge of the blade? You may need to squint. DLAA looks like absolute trash while FSR 3 by far looks the most sharp while maintaining a clean edge on the blade. You can especially tell by looking at the sword handle. This is because FSR has more sharpening and will get rid of the bluriness you talk about.

I also use FSR for frame generation because it buys you another 5-10 fps while maintaining visual fidelity. It also allows you to use Vsync if needed. I have a 4090 and consider myself somewhat of an Nvidia fanboy, and yet a few hours of meticulous tinkering with graphics settings made me realize that AMD looks FAR better in this game and even gets better performance. All settings maxed out, ambient occlusion set to XeGTAO (personal preference) and still get 120 fps average this way. Thank me later. :)
