bro dont 4chan reply to me i got 1660 ti and although its a good card, amd r9 390 with 8 gb 256 bit still runs better on some titles
I'd imagine if I was satisfied with hardware that was barely mid half a decade ago I would also split hairs about "price to performance ratio" and other forms of cope

Im sure there are some community drivers out there which would make this thing run and it would run good, mid or not it still runs and this is not USoy where gpus are the price of a Mcdonalds run

I just buy good hardware where I don't need ridiculous community support to run software and upgrade it when are hardware comes out

sorry but it would not run good. Upgrade ...Games will not support those old GPUs anymore. Those GPUs do not have the required techs. Developers use new techs so the games look better and run more efficiently allowing them to make the games more complex.

I remember when RE7 came out and people with Phenom II's were complaining about specific draw calls that forced the game to crash and they kept whining about wanting the engine remade so their ghastly ancient machines could play it. Eventually tech just has to leave you behind. That's just how it works. Get over it.

So for anyone wondering how this is done and solved, thanks to Ukrainian ghost, you need to download this community driver - https://sourceforge.net/projects/radeon-id-distribution/files/Release%20Legacy%20GCN%20%28Pre-Polaris%29/ - WHQL-AMD-Software-Hybrid-Edition-23.11.1-GCNFlex-Nebula-Native-DCH.7z 2023-11-25 493.7 MB . After that follow the setup and then start the game it will work just fine. For the guys above who just spammed nonsense, the game runs perfectly even better than my 1650 TI. KEEP IN MIND, this fix works only for r9 390 series and i dont know how to do it with other GPUs. There is a community discord here - https://discord.com/invite/rdnid for the AMD users. These guys do community drivers and keep up a good work. which AMD has abandoned supporting years ago. I get it more focus on newer cards and stuff but thanks to these guys we get to play new games ON AN OLD GPU.

"Why remove this totally fixable software limitation with a driver when the hardware is perfectly capable of pushing framerates when you can BUY A NEW GPU"

Do you hear yourself?

Radeon-ID/NimeZ drivers are a known quantity.

Your advice is for people to download untested software from god knows where as an "official" solution to a widespread problem? And you SUPPORT a hardware platform that requires that as a solution literally anything? That's so unbelievably insane to me that I need to back away

Your advice is absolutely beyond the pale. Keep talking. I'm preserving everything you say on reddit.
