Is there a trick to better targeting?

I find it a tad annoying when facing multiple opponents. Character seems to like to target them at random, sometimes.

there's a lock on toggle in the options menu below the aim assist toggle under gameplay (i think), makes it so you can actually focus on an enemy in a massive fight.

for some reason this lockon setting is not available in the Legends mode though

Ahh, it's only available on gamepad. Lol
