all button prompts are question marks

I use a ds4 controller and on all other games the button prompts are always the xbox ones, which is fine and doenst matter to me. But here they are all question marks, i tried switching controller scheme multiple times but it does nothing, i tried restarting, unplugging the controller and everything else but nothing works. i would be fine with xbox prompts but all question marks is hard to play with during cutscene choices or the mini games and also the tutorials are unreadable. Does someone know a fix?

Use DS4Windows or whatever the current app is called and then use that to emulate a 360 controller. You will of course get Xbox glyphs in every game, but I don't remember seeing many PS ones when I used Sony controllers

Same situation here, but with nacon compact controller. Didn't fix it for me, but you might aswell try this for yourself. Right click on the game > Properties > Controller > Enable Steam Input.

I found a fix in an another discussion. Right click on the game > Properties > Controller > Disable Steam Input. That's what worked for me. Seems like the game have a native support for a majority of controllers so steam input is useless.
