Xbox controller, Running dont work

I keep pressing my L3 button and Jin run for 1sec and stop, i cant run using my controller and i dont know why.

I dont use DS4 or any external software.

Mouse and keyboard works fine.

Anyone have a solution?

same problem here, on foot, on horseback, even the "lock" of enemies is complicated

Do you have Steam input enabled? If so disable it. Game supports Xbox controller natively and Steam input just hoses things up.

The controls in this game are completely busted for a lot of people. I can't sprint or gallop for more than a second or two, and after closing and restarting the game, my right trigger is now mapped to both heavy attack and interact, so i end up swiping at people when i'm trying to open doors lol

I'm using a PS5 controller and it's fine for me.

Remapping controller through Steam I put heavy attack on R2 and fire/interact on triangle. Everything works fine but now interact pops up as triangle but just won't work at all.

I had this bug only once in 20 plus hours of play, I just restarted the game and that fixed it for me.

No problem here withj Xbox controller. Maybe reset Steam controller settings or some such.
