This, the game originally released back in 2020, so I doubt they had any involvement in it. This is a PC port, not an entire new game built from the ground up. The foundation/framework was already written/there from four years ago.
So far it was all believable. Fantastic intro. Cut scenes are anything but woke. Pulpy good art.
First scene where she pretends to be weak, crying, then uses it to her advantage to kill the guard who fell for it is really good.
After that, they woked her up to the 9s.
You're following her lead everywhere, she's the boss, knows when to do this, when to do that. You're just along for the show.
Until they get rid of her and it's back to normality for a while.
Ah look, the SWI touch (or their 2020 counterparts) is everywhere in these wokey times. But with this it seems to be just 5min of unbelievable tripe here and there that you just have to tune out for.
Yeah hope not... For sure Yuna had me tuning out in disbelief. Luckily I have the Japanese voice-overs on, so I'm oblivious to her woke-talk unless I read the subtitles.
Pictures speak louder than words of course, so just having to follow her around like a...
Well, I mean isn't the dude a samurai? He goes from being a highly trained badass to 'yeah Yuna knows best'.
The rest of it is great though. Tough as nails great.
You more of a honey mustard guy?
Not gonna bother lookin it up mate.
I'm more of a 'looks like a girl, acts like a girl' guy if it's of assistance
Is Woke in the room with you now?
I literally cannot tell if this is a parody post or not if your bar of "woke" is as low as "a woman who helps the MC after he almost died like twice".
I don't think there's a problem with this game because it was made by Japanese developers and it shows they were trying to make a good game. It's just a shame Soyny has to ruin it by requiring a PSN network account.
Ha yeah. It 100% seemed natural all the way through. In no way was I ever questioning whether there was a 'consultant' hired to make Yuna seems 'less weak' haha.
A look, I just laughed. It's woke of course. Woke out the ears.
But lol-woke.
The rest of the game is pure cinema genius (as far as games go).
Bit of vomit on the carpet but sure when is there not these days haha
I've been referring to condiments the whole time lol
Sucker Punch Productions, LLC is an American studoi tho (unless I'm missing something)
