AMD GPU Crash Fix
If you have an AMD GPU and are suffering constant crashing ensure you have FSR and Frame Generation turned off. I also had to downgrade to the previous driver version as there seems to be an issue with the Ghost of Tsushima "optimised" driver.

You're right about the driver, we need to wait for a fix

Played two Hours so far, no Issues with 24.5.1 Driver. 6700XT. Butter Smooth and no Stutter.

I haven't had an issue on the 24.5.1 drivers no crashing for me but only have FSR set to kick in if it gets under 60FPS. Using a 6800XT in case this is another x000 series issue

No you're not, i haven't had a single issue with 24.5.1

+120FPS @4K with a 7900XTX

stop propagating nonsense

The only platforms that will benefit from frame generation are steam deck's and trash gaming pc's. If you have a regular rig there is no need to use it, this is a PS4 game after all.

7800XT here. I managed to "limit" crashing by turning off resolution scaling and FSR, but it still crashes every 10 minutes. So it's not nonsense. Also running 24.5.1

Guess i gotta dive into the settings and find a combination of settings that works better for me. 😟

Running a Ryzen 5 5600x with RX 6900XT and game is crashing often, sometimes on startup, sometimes with a few min of gameplay. This was happening with previous driver too, so I updated and the crashes became more often. I'm also having some strange light artifacts

Personal Update: I did what @Marksy suggested and rolled back my driver to 24.3.1

I crashed LITERALLY 10 times trying to cross the bridge at the castle prologue area. And with the rollback i got through it in one attempt.

Ridiculous that AMD publishes a driver which is OPTIMISED for a game, but ends up totally breaking it.

Hopefully no more crashes, but we'll see.

I've got a RX 7800 XT, always crashing when the game tries to load a new big settlement. I'll try going back to 24.3.1 instead of current. I can avoid crashing if I keep the camera away from the base while approaching.
No fps drops or anything, no strange voltages or high temperatures. Kinda surprised this game barely makes my fans speed up, it's quite well optimized except for the crashes.

Exactly what happened to me, that's where I figured out to walk up to it having the camera facing backwards.
