Yes, I noticed this too. Fire flickers, looks 2D in some cases DOOM 3D from the 90s has a better fire than this game.
Hopefully they can improve that later on! :)
It still looks like a PS4 game, they didn't really remaster anything at all.
I'm not that far into the game yet, so i don't know how open world it is and how long but at least the combat mechanics seem decent so idk.
I'm having fun with it but it doesn't blow me out of the water either.
They did nail the music and atmoshpere though.
It's the downside of being a PC gamer and being spoiled graphics wise. I bet this game is gonna run great on steam deck, especially with FSR.
The deck is basically a portable PS4 anyways.
